Synopsis: Thriller set in the art world of Barcelona. Julia is an art restorer who, whilst cleaning a 15th-century Flemish painting, discovers beneath the surface a cryptic Latin inscription. She asks her former lover - an art authority - about it, but he is killed soon after. As the murders pile up, Julia teams up with chess master Domenec to solve the crimes by cracking the mysteries locked in the chess match in the painting.
